Christmas and New Year's Eve

Christmas Eve

Every year our family does a cousin exchange and this year Clellie got Ari. Clellie wasn't sure of what to get her so they decided to take Ari shopping and she got to pick out her own gift. Bet you can't guess what she got! Yep a purse, Clellie and her mom decided to wrap it so that Ari would never guess what is was...oh wait she didn't need to guess. Ethan had fun walking around with the wrapped gift over his shoulder shouting purse, purse! We we're all so surprised on Christmas morning when Ari opened the gift and we found out that Ethan was right...he's such a smart baby.
Chris had the stomach flu on Christmas eve so Mrs. Claus had to work solo. Poor guy, it doesn't help that he works such crazy hours too.
On Christmas eve every year the kids open their gift from grandma Debbie and Gramps and they get to snuggle up in their new pj's as they wait for Santa to make his delivery. I realized as I created this post that I didn't get a picture of the kids in their pj's, sorry!

Christmas Morning

Brennen got the one thing at the top of his list...Lego's! He also received books, a comfy chair to read in (shown) and a telescope for those starry nights.

Ariana asked for books and a bed and Santa came through this year, she also received a cozy reading chair, many books (Eragon series shown here) and a gift card to Old Navy (which she later traded for cash so she could buy more books...what kind of teenage girl doesn't want clothes?).

Devin had Pokemon on the brain....and yes Santa came through for him too. Devin got books, a beanbag chair to read in and a T-Rex skeleton that he and his dad got to put together (Devin is really into dinosaurs).

Ethan was well taken care of this year too, he received books, puzzles and toys. This is a picture of him opening his drum from Santa.

We want to say thank you to our cousins and grandmas and grandpas for their fun gifts this year! Also thanks to Brenda for spoiling us! (Ethan Loves the Big Wheels).
